16 Affiliate Programs for Bloggers in 2026

There are hundreds of articles out there listing affiliate programs for bloggers. Most are generic. Many are outdated. Very few tell you the things that actually matter before you apply.

This one is different.

Every program on this list is relevant to the blogging, WordPress, and online business niche. Several I have personally promoted and earned from. 

For the others, I’ve gone directly to each program’s affiliate page to pull current commission rates, cookie durations, payout thresholds, payment methods, and key terms you need to know.

This is not a filler list of 100 programs that left you more confused. It’s just 16 well-selected affiliate programs with everything you need to decide which ones are worth your time and content investment.

Let’s get into it.

1. WP Engine Affiliate Program

WP Engine is the premium managed WordPress hosting brand, and its affiliate program has long been one of the most generous in the hosting space.

The commission structure works like this: refer someone to the Lite plan, and you earn $100. Refer them to any other plan, and you earn either $200 or the greater of the customer’s first monthly payment or $200. 

So if someone signs up for a Scale plan at $290/month, you earn $290 on that single referral. On annual plans, the total is divided by 12 to calculate the monthly equivalent.

WP Engine moved its program from ShareASale to its own in-house platform powered by Everflow, so you’ll sign up directly through their affiliate page.

One important note: direct linking is expressly forbidden. You must place your affiliate link on a domain you own. If you want to promote on YouTube or social media, you need to link to a landing page on your own site first. 

This means all referrals must come from a platform you own and control. 

Commissions are paid around the 20th of the month, but only after a referral reaches 62 days old and remains in good standing. Voided commissions are most commonly caused by customer cancellations.

WP Engine also runs a separate Agency Partner Program; if your referrals come from direct client work rather than published content, that route may suit you better.

2. Kinsta Affiliate Program

Kinsta is one of the few premium managed WordPress hosts that combines an upfront one-time bonus with a lifetime recurring commission on every referral. That combination makes it one of the more attractive long-term affiliate programs in this space.

The one-time bonus scales with the plan your referral signs up for, ranging from $50 for entry-level plans to $500 for higher-tier plans. 

On top of that, you earn 10% of whatever that customer pays Kinsta every single month for as long as they stay a customer. With Kinsta’s 2% churn rate, most referrals stick around for a long time.

Kinsta runs its own in-house affiliate platform (not ShareASale or Impact), which means clean, purpose-built reporting with real-time stats on page views, conversions, and payouts. The dashboard is available in 8 languages.

Applications are manually reviewed. Kinsta is selective; they typically won’t approve coupon and deal sites, websites without a custom domain, unfinished sites, or pages that just aggregate links without original content. 

The upside of that selectivity is that accepted affiliates are taken seriously, with tiered benefits (Starter → Experienced → Pro → Master) that unlock co-branded landing pages, dedicated affiliate managers, and Slack access at higher levels.

3. Cloudways Affiliate Program

Cloudways gives you something most hosting affiliate programs don’t: a choice of how you earn.

The Slab model pays a flat commission per sale that rises as you refer more customers in a month. The tiers reset on the 1st of each month:

The Cloudways Hybrid model is better for affiliates who can consistently bring in customers: $30 per sale, plus 7% of that customer’s monthly hosting spend for life. If your referral scales their server, your recurring cut goes up too.

You can switch commission models from within your affiliate dashboard (changes take effect at the start of the following month), which is a genuinely useful feature.

The two-tier structure also sets Cloudways apart. You earn 7% of commissions generated by any affiliates you personally refer into the program.

One important thing to know: your commission is approved only after the referred customer has upgraded to a paid account and paid at least two full invoices. Trial accounts that never upgrade don’t count.

On PPC: you can run paid campaigns, but you must add “Cloudways” to your negative keyword list and cannot bid on branded terms or use Cloudways as a display URL without prior approval.

4. Hostinger Affiliate Program

Hostinger’s affiliate program is straightforward. You promote one of the world’s most recognizable budget-to-mid-tier hosting brands and earn at least 40% on every eligible sale.

The 40% floor is the baseline; the program is structured to reward affiliates whose volume grows over time, with higher commission tiers available as performance increases. The exact tier details aren’t published publicly, but you’ll have access to them once you’re approved.

Hostinger converts well because of its strong brand recognition, frequent promotions, and aggressive pricing, especially on shared and WordPress hosting. 

That’s both a plus (high conversion rates) and something to keep in mind when positioning your content. Hostinger’s audience skews toward beginners and budget-conscious site owners, so your content should reflect that.

The program runs on Hostinger’s own affiliate platform (and on Impact) and includes a custom dashboard for tracking campaigns. They provide banners, screenshots, and other marketing materials.

5. Pressable Affiliate Program

Pressable is Automattic’s managed WordPress hosting product for businesses and agencies, and its affiliate program is among the most overlooked in the hosting niche.

The headline number is up to $300 per referral, based on 100% of the customer’s first payment. This is the same commission model as WordPress.com hosting (they share the Automattic affiliate umbrella via Impact). 

What makes Pressable stand out is its 180-day cookie, which is among the longest of any hosting affiliate program. That gives you nearly 6 months to get credit from anyone who clicks your link.

One program, multiple earning opportunities: becoming a Pressable affiliate automatically enables commissions on other Automattic brands, including Jetpack, WooCommerce extensions, WordPress.com, and more — all tracked from the same Impact dashboard.

Commissions are held for 45 days post-purchase (Pressable’s cancellation window) before being released for payout.

6. WordPress.com Affiliate Program

WordPress.com’s affiliate program is broader than most people realize. Joining it through Impact gives you access to commissions across the entire Automattic product suite, not just WordPress.com hosting.

Here’s a breakdown of current commission rates by product:

The 30-day cookie is shorter than some competitors, but the breadth of products you can earn from through a single program is a genuine differentiator. 

There’s no minimum traffic requirement to apply, and applications are reviewed based on content quality and audience fit.

Note: There is no recurring commission here. The WordPress.com hosting commission is a one-time payment.

7. HostPapa Affiliate Program

HostPapa is a Canadian web hosting company with global reach across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Their affiliate program is managed through the Opie Network, so you’ll be signing up on the Opie platform, which then gives you access to HostPapa offers, along with potentially other merchants.

The commission structure is tiered: as your monthly conversion volume grows, your per-sale commission increases, up to a ceiling of $150 per web hosting sale. The 15% commission rate applies to domain registrations and email hosting sales.

Important timing details: a referred customer must remain active for at least 30 days (to clear HostPapa’s money-back guarantee window) before your commission is validated. 

You’ll then receive payment approximately 45 days after the initial purchase, so expect around 45 – 60 days from referral to payout in most cases. Payments go out around the 16th of each month.

One global link tracks referrals across all HostPapa country-specific sites. A Canadian visitor who clicks your US-targeted link will be redirected to HostPapa.ca and will still count as your referral.

Self-referrals are checked manually every month and reversed. No PPC bidding on any HostPapa-branded terms, including misspellings, is allowed.

8. Namecheap Affiliate Program

Namecheap is one of the most well-known domain registrars in the world, and for bloggers in the WordPress/hosting niche, it’s a natural fit. 

Their products — domain registration, shared hosting (EasyWP), SSL certificates, private email, and VPN — are widely used by the very audience most blogging-niche publishers attract.

The affiliate program runs through two separate networks: Impact (their primary platform) and Commission Junction. Namecheap itself recommends sticking with one platform, since splitting your referrals makes it harder to hit volume tiers on either platform.

Commission rates follow a tiered model based on monthly sales volume — starting at 20–25% for new affiliates and increasing as you generate more sales. SSL certificates and hosting packages tend to earn higher dollar commissions than domain-only registrations.

The 30-day cookie is on the shorter end, and commissions are not recurring. You earn on the first purchase, not renewals (with some product-specific exceptions like VPN). 

No commissions on apps, hosting add-ons, or premium domains either.

A practical note: Namecheap affiliate coupon codes are available on affiliate platforms and are refreshed monthly. You can share these with your audience, but only codes sourced through the official affiliate account generate commissions.

9. SEO PowerSuite Affiliate Program

SEO PowerSuite is a desktop-based SEO toolkit that’s been around for well over a decade — bundling Rank Tracker, Website Auditor, SEO SpyGlass, and LinkAssistant. Professional licenses sell for $299 and enterprise licenses for $499, so at 33%, you’re earning up to $165 per sale.

I’ve made thousands of dollars from the SEO PowerSuite affiliate program since 2015. The product converts especially well during promotional periods, such as summer sales, Black Friday and Christmas, because that’s when SEO professionals are most likely to pull the trigger on a desktop tool purchase.

The 120-day cookie is one of the longer windows in the SEO tool category, giving you meaningful credit for content that introduces the product before a reader buys during a promo.

The program now runs via Avangate (2Checkout). Link-assistant also has its own affiliate account setup page, which walks you through the process of getting your unique links.

One thing to be realistic about: SEO PowerSuite is a one-time purchase tool (with optional annual upgrades), not a SaaS subscription. 

Conversions can be slower between major sales events. Survey your audience before investing heavily in content around a high-ticket affiliate SEO tool, and make sure they’re genuinely in the market for something like this.

Best for: Bloggers who cover SEO tools, SEO workflows for small businesses, or content for SEO agencies and freelance consultants.

10. Surfer SEO Affiliate Program

Surfer SEO has become one of the most talked-about content optimization tools in the SEO world, and its affiliate program is structured to aggressively reward serious promoters.

The CPA commission is unusual — at Tier 1, you earn 75% of the customer’s first monthly payment. At Tier 3, that jumps to 125% — meaning Surfer actually pays you more than the customer’s first month. 

This is a customer acquisition model designed to incentivize affiliates to drive volume, with Surfer recouping that through long-term retention.

Affiliate applications are reviewed manually and are very competitive. You’ll need to demonstrate relevance to the audience before applying.

Im my experience, customer cancelling their accounts within the first 30 days is common. My first four referrals were canceled halfway through.

So watch out for your marketing copy and audience relevancy.

Surfer now operates under the Positive Group brand umbrella, which also includes User.com (CRM/marketing automation) and Signitic (email signature management). This could expand what you can earn across that ecosystem over time.

11. Astra Affiliate Program

Astra is the most widely installed premium WordPress theme with over 1.6 million active users and counting. As the theme I use on most of my blogs (Astra Pro), I can vouch for this being a product worth recommending.

The 30% commission rate applies to all Astra products. The Business Toolkit (lifetime license for 1,000 sites) is priced at $899, which means a single sale generates $270 in commission. Most realistic conversions will come from the single-site and annual plans.

The Astra affiliate program is run in-house through Brainstorm Force’s own affiliate area; there is no external network to sign up for.

12. WP Rocket Affiliate Program

WP Rocket is consistently rated the best premium WordPress caching plugin on the market. I use it on this blog and recommend it to nearly every reader who asks about page speed. 

That firsthand experience makes it far easier to write honestly and persuasively about.

The 20% commission translates to the following per-sale earnings based on current pricing:

The program runs through Awin. Applications are reviewed manually and may take up to 48 hours. 

One important restriction: you cannot use coupon or discount-related keywords in your content, URL, SEO title, or metadata. Unofficial coupon codes are explicitly prohibited. Deal/coupon aggregator sites are not eligible.

WP Rocket does run promotional campaigns, and affiliates often receive advance notice of Black Friday and seasonal deals, which are worth timing your content around.

Fiverr is the world’s largest freelance services marketplace, and it’s a genuinely versatile affiliate product. It’s relevant across almost any blogger niche where readers hire freelancers for design, copywriting, video, SEO, development, and more.

What makes this Fiverr partner program unusual is the commission structure: you earn on the customer’s first order (at the rates above), then a 10% revenue share on every purchase that buyer makes for the next 12 months. 

So if someone you refer becomes an active Fiverr buyer who spends $500 over the following year, you earn $50 on top of your initial commission.

Fiverr Pro — the curated tier with vetted top-tier freelancers — earns a striking 70% of the first order. That’s the highest first-order commission rate in the program, but the audience is narrower (buyers looking for premium talent).

Commission payments are processed monthly on a net-30 basis. For example, commissions earned in January are paid out on March 1st or 2nd.

14. Thinkific Affiliate Program

Thinkific is a leading online course platform and one of the few course tools that offer a genuine recurring commission. As long as your referral stays a paying Thinkific customer, you earn 30% of whatever they pay every month or year.

For example, I have earned a total of $117.60 from a single customer sign-up with a $14.70 commission, which has renewed the subscription 9 times.

The Plus plan commission is worth noting: rather than a percentage, it pays a flat $150 per referral per month. That’s meaningful if you refer to business-level customers.

Thinkific offers up to $1,800 per referral per year, based on higher-tier recurring commissions. Realistically, the average customer will be on a lower-tier plan, so set expectations accordingly.

The 90-day cookie is generous. Commissions go through a 30-day reconciliation delay, are verified at the end of the month, and are paid on the 13th of the following month via PayPal or Stripe.

15. Shopify Affiliate Program

Shopify is the dominant e-commerce platform globally, and its affiliate program is among the better-structured in the broader online business space.

The $150 maximum commission applies to qualifying sign-ups for Basic, Grow, or Advanced paid plans. 

Commission amounts vary by the location of the merchant you refer, so earnings aren’t entirely predictable. There are no commission caps, which means unlimited earning potential.

The 30-day cookie is standard, but there’s a meaningful extension for free trial conversions: if a referred merchant starts a trial within 30 days of clicking your link, Shopify continues tracking whether that trial converts to a paid plan for up to 400 days. 

That’s a significant protection for affiliates whose content influences a buyer who takes time to decide.

Commissions are issued to your account balance on the 22nd of each month for the prior month’s referrals. You can set payouts to happen bi-weekly once your balance reaches your chosen threshold.

16. Strive Content Calendar Affiliate Program

Strive is a WordPress plugin that adds an editorial content calendar directly inside your WordPress dashboard. It’s a niche product, but a highly relevant one if your audience consists of bloggers, content teams, or WordPress publishers who manage editorial workflows.

The recurring commission model is what makes Strive worth including on this list. Prices range from $7/month (single site) to $999 for a lifetime unlimited-site license. Every renewal earns you 30%, so even small monthly plans compound over time if you refer consistent customers.

Strive uses a first-click attribution model. If a reader clicks links from two different affiliates, the first affiliate gets the commission. 

That’s the opposite of most platforms (which favor last click), and it’s designed to reward affiliates who introduce the product rather than those who intercept buyers at the last moment.

Strive affiliate applications are manually reviewed. Only high-quality sites are accepted.

Payouts are processed via the Freemius platform, with PayPal as the payment method.

Best for: Bloggers whose audience runs a content-heavy WordPress blog or publication and would benefit from planning and managing content in a visual editorial calendar.

How to Choose the Right Affiliate Programs for Your Blog

More isn’t better in affiliate marketing. Spreading yourself across 16 programs simultaneously is a sure way to get mediocre results across the board.

Here’s a practical framework for narrowing it down:

Match the product to your audience. 

If your readers are WordPress beginners, Hostinger, Astra, and WP Rocket are better fits than Cloudways or SEO PowerSuite. 

If you write for developers and agencies, Kinsta and Cloudways make more sense.

Prioritize programs that align with content you’re already creating. 

The best affiliate income comes from content you’d write anyway. If you’re already writing a Cloudways vs. WP Engine comparison, you should be an affiliate of both.

Think about commission structure, not just commission rate. 

A 30% recurring commission from a $15/month product will eventually outpace a $200 one-time payment if your referrals stay long enough. 

Kinsta, Thinkific, Strive, and Cloudways (Hybrid) all offer meaningful recurring income.

Check the cookie duration. 

A longer cookie protects your commissions from readers who click, research further, then buy days later. 

The difference between a 30-day and a 180-day cookie is significant for long-form review content.

Read the terms before you apply. 

Every program on this list has rules about what you can and cannot do — PPC bidding restrictions, no self-referrals, coupon content limits, minimum referrals for payout, and more. 

Ignoring these can get you removed and cause you to forfeit pending commissions.

Final Thoughts

Every program on this list is relevant to the blogging, WordPress, and online business niche. Each one has a legitimate audience fit, a credible product, and a compensation model worth your time.

The path to real affiliate income isn’t finding the highest commission rate. It’s about building content that genuinely helps a specific reader make a decision, and recommending the product that’s actually the best fit for their situation.

Pick two or three programs that match your existing content, get approved, and do the work. That’s where it starts.
